What is Pile Integrity Testing?

Pile Integrity Testing is a low-strain dynamic test that evaluates the structural soundness, length, and continuity of concrete piles. It helps detect internal defects such as:

  • Cracks

  • Changes in pile cross-section

The test is also referred to as low-strain impact integrity testing and is performed using handheld equipment that delivers a light tap to the pile head and analyzes the resulting wave reflection.

    The software captures the reflected stress waves, which indicate changes in pile stiffness and geometry.

  4. Analysis & Interpretation
    Our engineers analyze wave signatures to detect anomalies and estimate pile length.

  5. Report Delivery
    A clear and detailed report is provided with waveform plots, interpretations, and engineering conclusions.
